Markdrop started as a weekend fix for a familiar annoyance: writing in markdown, then needing a Word doc for someone who doesn't use it.
Most of us write in markdown because it's fast — no toolbars, no formatting to fight with, just words on a page. But the moment that document needs to leave our editor, things get complicated. A colleague wants a Word file they can comment on. A client wants a PDF. A README needs to become a web page.
We didn't want another bloated app with an account wall, a subscription, and a slow upload step just to flip a file from one format to another. So we built a tool that does exactly one job — and does it in the browser, instantly, for free.
Markdrop is deliberately small. We'd rather it do four things well than fifty things adequately. Every format it exports to was chosen because people actually asked for it, not because it looked good on a feature list.
Markdrop is designed and developed by MKSOL TECH. You can reach the team at mksoltech@gmail.com.
No spinners, no queues. Every conversion happens the moment you click, right on your device.
Your writing never touches a server. What you type stays in your browser tab, nowhere else.
No accounts, no dashboards, no upsells. One page that does one job, well.
It takes less time to convert your file than it did to read this page.
